Department of Gender Studies
In both the MA and Ph.D. programs, coursework is central to our students’ education. It is through coursework that students receive much of their orientation to gender studies as a discipline and it is where they acquire the conceptual and methodological skills necessary for their thesis/dissertation projects. Along with a small number of mandatory courses, students select from a range of elective courses.
